At the initiative of the French National Frequencies Agency and in collaboration with the city of Marseille, the first 3 sensors from the EMF Observatory have been deployed in the streets of the city to enable local residents to monitor changes in their electromagnetic field environment. On the eve of the roll-out of 5G, this pilot deployment provides a transparent response to the social issues surrounding electromagnetic exposure.
After Marseilles, several other towns will follow suit
Initiated in Marseille, the rollout will continue in 4 other French cities, with the aim of gaining an initial idea of the impact of switching on 5G on exposure levels.
